SeaTac Int’l Airport Post IAF Realignment

The Post International Arrival Facility (IAF) Realignment project for the SeaTac International Airport consisted of building new ramp facilities for Delta and United Airlines. Two new mechanical penthouses were added to Concourse B to handle additional HVAC requirements. A new ticketing counter for Southwest Airlines was constructed in the Main Terminal. EC collaborated through preconstruction design, providing as-built BIM models, itemized estimates at 30%, 60%, and 90% design milestones, value engineering, site investigation, early procurement, and scheduling. The two-year preconstruction scope required multiple weekly meetings with contractors and the Port Construction Management Team.
