Sam Barlow High School

EC was contracted as an MEP partner to upgrade the electrical systems, fire alarms, security, Musco Sports Lighting system, and football stadium at Sam Barlow High School. We utilized our in-house BIM and prefabrication capabilities to support lean construction practices. Prefabricated work packages were sequentially staged in totes and loaded onto pallets for just-in-time jobsite delivery, minimizing our footprint on site. We practiced the 5S organization system by keeping all packaging materials within our prefabrication department for recycling and refuse removal.
