PAE Living Building

EC completed this mass timber and cross-laminated timber (CLT) building with a unique power grid. In 2024, the building received full Living Building Challenge certification from Living Future. The structure utilizes onsite and dedicated offsite solar power and onsite battery storage, which enables net positive energy production and connection to the city grid. All energy consumed by the building is produced by onsite and offsite photovoltaics.
