Constable Battery Energy Storage System

EC completed the construction of the Constable Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), installed for PGE. This BESS facility will maintain a clean and reliable power supply during peak demand periods, and will provide flexible response to variable load requirements associated with increasing intermittent energy resources. The capacity for the Constable facility is 75MW for four hours for a total of 300MWH. Each of the 96 BESS cubes installed were designed and supplied by BYD.
