EC worked closely with the Portland Fire Bureau to design a communications system that only alerts the personnel needed for an emergency rather than waking up the entire firehouse. This system has greatly impacted emergency responders’ ability to get a good night’s sleep which is statistically shown to improve their overall health and readiness.
